I would prefer to give them the best if possible as they are not for meat but eggs and selling the chicks. they do have a large area to run around in but 3 or 4 times a week the cross breeds are let out to roam 5 acres. The pure bred do not have that luxury. As I would not want the wrong rooster to get hold of them. what is the best type of food for them.
